    Responsibilities:

    • Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership policies
    • Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to test components and systems
    • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more
    • Communicate with Service Advisors about additional services needed and provide estimates
    • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
    • Maintain required training standards

    • Ability to clearly explain technical issues to customers and service advisors
    • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
    • Ability to quickly and accurately identify problems
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

    • Strong customer service skills and a team player mentality
    • Willingness to continue education and stay up to date with automotive technology and repair techniques

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Valid driver’s license with clean driving history
    • Certification from a technical or trade school preferred
    • ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification highly desirable
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
    • Experience with a wide range of vehicle makes and models
    • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
    • Strong understanding of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
    • Ability to perform routine maintenance and complex repairs
    • Comprehensive knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
    • Familiarity with manufacturer specifications and warranty procedures
    • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions including standing, bending, and kneeling
    • Stamina to work in a physically demanding environment
    • Ensure customers' cars are kept clean and maintain a clean and orderly work bay
