Consumers Energy Foundation Announces $500,000 for Community Projects in Northern Michigan JACKSON, MI, Oct. 29, 2024 – The Village of Vanderbilt is one of three communities in Michigan named as 2025 Prosperity Award Winners by the Consumers Energy Foundation. The village will receive $100,000 to support its Gateway to the Pigeon River Project. Other recipients include Curtis Township in Alcona County who will be receiving $250,000 to revitalize a vacant building, and Lincoln Township in Clare County
