ollin Wilson Awarded General Manager of the Year for the Extended Stay segment of Choice Hotel

    (Gaylord) Collin Wilson, General Manager for Comfort Inn & Suites/MainStay Suites Gaylord, was recently honored as General Manager of the year for the extended stay segment of Choice Hotels. This prestigious award is given to one recipient in a network of 550+ properties.

Collin has served as the General Manager for the Comfort Inn & Suites/MainStay Suites Gaylord since its opening in December 2021. Under his leadership, the properties have both received numerous recognitions, including six Ring of Honor Awards and two Platinum Awards, which are reserved for the top 1% and 3% of hotels within their respective brands.

“This recognition is a reflection of the incredible team I’m fortunate to work alongside every day. I’m truly grateful for their hard work, support, and the role they play in our shared success,” Collin stated.

A 2015 Walsh College graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management degree, Collin has immersed himself in the Gaylord business community. Along with his hospitality leadership role, he is the current President of the Rotary Club of Gaylord and a Chamber of Commerce Board member. Collin’s professionalism, knowledge and welcoming spirit have made him the past recipient of the Chamber of Commerce’s Ambassador of the Year Award.
