MICHELE ANDREWS JOINS BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF MCLAREN NORTHERN MICHIGAN

Michele Andrews, Dean of Business, Education and Adjunct Faculty at North Central Michigan College (NCMC), has joined the Board of Trustees for McLaren Northern Michigan.

Andrews officially began her term on the McLaren Northern Michigan Board of Trustees in July 2026 and will serve for three years with an option to renew for two more terms.

Andrews oversees the college's Business and Education Division, guiding curriculum development, academic quality, and strategic growth across a diverse portfolio of programs. She also leads the recruitment, onboarding, evaluation, and professional development of adjunct faculty while continuing to oversee operations at NCMC’s campuses in Gaylord and Cheboygan.

Andrews currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Cheboygan County Community Foundation and as Corresponding Secretary for the Zonta Club of Petoskey. Those experiences, combined with her perspective as a Cheboygan resident and educator, made her a natural fit for McLaren Northern Michigan's Board of Trustees.

"McLaren Northern Michigan expressed interest in my service because of my ability to represent the Cheboygan community, where I reside, and to contribute insight into the educational and workforce development opportunities that North Central Michigan College provides throughout the region," Andrews said. Im honored to have the opportunity to work with their Board of Trustees and help strengthen this long-standing and valuable partnership with McLaren Northern Michigan."
