Jose Flores Appointed Chief Executive Officer & General Manager of Odawa Casino
Petoskey, MI, July 14, 2025 – The Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians are pleased to announce the appointment of Jose Flores as the new Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Odawa Casino, responsible for leading operations at both the Petoskey and Mackinaw City properties.
Flores brings more than 30 years of experience in the casino and hospitality industry. He has a proven record of driving revenue growth, overseeing major development projects, and building engaged and high-performing teams. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Gun Lake Casino in Michigan, where he led several expansion projects.
Throughout his career, Flores has held key leadership roles at Hollywood Casino Bangor, Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races, and Hollywood Casino Joliet. He was recognized by Global Gaming Business as one of the “25 People to Watch”; in 2021. Flores is known for his operational expertise, commitment to team development, and dedication to community partnership.

Flores holds a Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University’s Thomas Cooley Law School, and a Master of Business Administration from Morris Graduate School of Management. He has served on numerous nonprofit and civic boards and is a strong advocate for diversity in leadership.
