    Job Summary We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist to join our IT and Computer Repair team. This role serves as the first point of contact for customers seeking computer repair, technical support, and IT services. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing customer interactions, service tickets, scheduling, and administrative tasks in a fast-paced technology environment.
     

    Key Responsibilities

    · Greet customers and provide a positive first impression of the company.
    · Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries regarding repair services and IT support.
    · Check in computers, laptops and other equipment for repair.
    · Create and update service tickets with accurate customer and device information.
    · Schedule, coordinate and dispatch field or in-house technicians based on service requests and priority levels.
    · Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
    · Maintain customer records and ensure confidentiality of customer information.
    · Coordinate with technicians regarding repair priorities and customer requests.
    · Assist with inventory tracking of accessories and office supplies.
    · Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
    · Handle administrative duties including filing, data entry, and document management.
    · Resolve basic customer concerns and escalate complex issues to management when necessary.
    · Ability to work in a fast paced environment
     

    Qualifications
    · High school diploma or equivalent required.
    · Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
    · Experience in an IT or computer repair environment is a plus.
    · Strong communication and customer service skills.
    · Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    · Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    · Experience handling cash and credit card transactions.
     

    Preferred Skills
    · Basic understanding of computers, laptops, and common technology terminology.
    · Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer management systems.
    · Familiarity with repair ticketing or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
    · Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
    · Ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers.
    · Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
     

    Physical Requirements
    · Ability to sit, stand, and use office equipment for extended periods.
    · Ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 25 pounds occasionally.
     

    Employment Type
    Full-Time Compensation: $15-$17 an Hour - Based on experience
