Otsego County Fire Authority Seeks Community Votes to Win Skid Unit for UTV

OTSEGO COUNTY, Mich. — The Otsego County Fire Authority is asking community members to take a moment to cast their vote and help the department win a skid unit that would enhance its ability to respond to emergencies in difficult-to-reach areas.

The Fire Authority has been entered into a drawing for a skid unit designed to be mounted on its UTV. This equipment would provide firefighters with additional capabilities when responding to emergencies in areas where traditional fire apparatus may have limited access.

For a rural community like Otsego County, having equipment that can reach remote locations can make an important difference. The skid unit would help improve wildfire response, increase access to remote areas, support community safety, and strengthen the resources available to local firefighters.
