43rd Annual Michaywe Arts & Crafts Fair Will be in Gaylord on August 12th and 13th. The 43rd annual Michaywé Arts & Crafts Fair on Aug, 12-13 will feature one-of-a-kind handmade crafts, distinctive indoor and outdoor décor, original artwork, creative natural products, beautiful jewelry, and unique foods. Located just south of Gaylord, the fair draws thousands of visitors from all over northern Michigan each summer. The 2022 juried show will be held in the park-like setting adjacent to Michaywe's award-winning Inn the Woods restaurant and picturesque Pines Golf Course, Artists and crafters will showcase their work in more than 80 booths both inside the clubhouse and under the shade trees around the pond and fountain at the two-day fair. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 12, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13. The Michaywé grounds and clubhouse are located at 1535 Opal Lake Road, which is just a few miles south of downtown Gaylord. (Take I-75 Exit 279 and follow the signs.) Admission is free. There will be an exciting variety and talent of artists and crafters who are coming to our annual fair this year. We will have returning exhibitors who are in-demand favorites, as well as many new exhibitors who keep the fair fresh and exciting. Because Michaywe has both the Pines Golf Course and Inn the Woods restaurant right here, we get visitors who also make a day of it by playing a round of golf and then relaxing in the restaurant overlooking the lake. Whether you're coming for artwork, the amazing food, the golf, or just the scenery here at Michaywé, there will definitely be something for everyone!
