The American Heart Association and Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Michigan are committed to fighting these startling statistics, and this month's Business After Hours theme is "Going Red for Women" with the hope of being a powerful tool to increase awareness. Feel free to wear red to this month's networking even to show support and help spread awareness. 

1 in 3 women die of heart disease and stroke each year. So we encourage you to join movement to end heart disease and stroke in women because it’s not just a man’s disease.

Make healthy food choices for you and your family.
Teach your kids the importance of staying active.
