2008 ALPENFEST PARADE APPLICATIONS NOW BEING ACCEPTED

(GAYLORD) The Alpenfest Parade Committee is accepting application for the 44th annual Alpenfest Grand Parade. The parade, to be held on Saturday, July 19, will begin at Noon.

Entries for floats, bands and other appropriate groups are being accepted until June 20. Entries will be judged in the following categories: Most Original entry, Best Service Club entry, Best Overall entry, and Best Use of Theme. This year’s Alpenfest theme is “Pure Michigan Fun” as we welcome our visitors and residents alike to enjoy the entire Alpenfest experience from July 15 through July 19.

Parade applications can be picked up at the Gaylord/Otsego County Chamber of Commerce office at 101 W. Main St in downtown Gaylord, or visit us on the web at www.gaylordchamber.com
