Eligibility Requirements   Ø        Open to all single women who have not been previously married, nor previously or currently cohabitating with a member of the opposite sex, do not have children or are not currently pregnant,  have reached her 17th birthday, are currently enrolled in high school or a graduate of high school, but has not  exceed the age of 22 by Labor Day of the Pageant year.   Ø       Candidates must be of good moral character. She must not have been convicted of any misdemeanor or felony.   Ø        Candidates must be residents who have lived in Otsego County for at least the past six months.  This includes college students who make their permanent residence in Otsego County.    Ø       Each candidate may obtain her own sponsor, but if unable, the pageant committee will work to obtain one for her.  The sponsor will pay the $300.00 sponsorship fee.   * The Alpenfest Board reserves the right to reject any and all applications that it feels do not meet the criteria.

Alpenfest 2008 is July 15^th through the 19^th.  Pageant rehearsals will begin the week of June 2^nd and will continue weekly.  A schedule of rehearsals will be available shortly.
