The Gaylord Area Chamber of Commerce Board meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at the University Center in Gaylord, located at 80 Livingston Blvd starting at 7:30am. All Board Meetings except for the October Board Retreat are open for members to attend.

October is the time for shining a spotlight on your businesses. Participation in the Annual Business Showcase allows you to meet fellow business leaders as well as market your products and services to people throughout the community. This event is limited to 62 Chamber Members with Early Bird Registration being offered in April.

Admission the day of the event is free to all attendees; each year approximatley 350 people attend this event.

The 2010 Business Showcase will be held on Wednesday, October 13th at the Treetops Convention Center; this event will also be held in conjunction with a Business After Hours.

Held each November, the Taste of Christmas is a fundraiser for the Take Time To Care Program through the Otsego County United Way to purchase toys and clothes so that no child in Otsego County has to go without a Christmas Gift.

The cost to attend is $10 per person and includes the opportunity to sample food from local Chamber Member Restaurants.

Meet business people and leaders in your area by attending a Business After Hours!

This networking event allows you to meet new people and build business relationships. You can sponsor a Business After Hours or just come to one and enjoy good company and great food from one of our many Chamber Member Restaurants.

The Holiday Business After Hours is our largest Business After Hours of the year  and is sponsored by Citizens Bank and The Otsego Club & Resort.  This event is held from 5-8pm at the Otsego Club & Resort.   The cost to attend is $10 for Chamber Members and $15 for Non-Chamber Members.

Santa is Coming...Santa is Coming!!!
Saturday, December 4, 2009 at 1:30pm Santa will arrive for the 2010 Santa Parade. The Gaylord Area Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club of Gaylord and the Downtown Development Authority invite you to come downtown for the festivities.

Festivities happening downtown include a movie at the Gaylord Cinema sponsored by the Rotary Club of Gaylord; lighting of the Christmas Tree by Santa and the Mayor with ornaments provided by Hospice of Michigan and the Downtown Christmas Stroll sponsored by local business owners and the Downtown Development Authority where you can find lots of store specials.

The Rotary Club of Gaylord also invites children of all ages to get their picture taken with Santa; make sure to bring your camera.

You can also enjoy the sounds of the Holiday Season with Carolers who will walk around downtown Gaylord spreading Christmas joy.
