Worker's Compensation Presentation and Panel Discussion
Northern Michigan Society of Human Resources is hosting a "Worker's Compensation Presentation & Panel Discussion" on Friday, August 19, 2011.
8:00am Registration and Continental Breakfast
8:30am to 12 noon- Michigan Room, Odawa Hotel
"From Prevention to Litigation" (Approved for 2 HRCI re-certification credits)
Thsi event will begin with each panelist introducing their area of expertise and qualifications; and providing a description of their current role in the complex network of the Worker's Compenstation. The session will continue, in a panel format, outlining a potential worker's compensation clain from the beginning stages managing safety and wellness; through the occurrence of a worker's compensation claim; and finally into claims management and employer defense. Finally the panel will engage participants in a Questions and Answer period to address participants unique Worker's Compensation concerns.
