Coffee and Conversation with Veterans
MISSION: A coffee and conversation hour where military veterans are encouraged to connect with other veterans to share story’s, experience’s or the news of the day.
TIME: 0900hrs to 1000hrs (9am-10am)
Date: First Wednesday of each month (Starting 5 Nov 2014)
Terrain-Location: Gaylord Regional Airport Terminal
Objective: Provide a rally point for all veterans to come and socialize over complementary coffee and donuts.
- Each month a surprise guest coffee drinker will join us.
- No format, No presentations, No agendas, just coffee and conversation
Otsego County Cancer Support Group
The OCCSG meets monthly to bring sharing, education and friendship to those dealing with any type of cancer. There is a wealth of experience in this group from current cancer patients and those in remission. We encourage caregivers and significant others to attend as we hear guest speakers, share and together fight this disease -- you are not alone!
Kids Summer Art Program
3 day summer art workshop for children 4th grade on up being taught by art teacher Marge Long. Activity will be print making from 12:00-3:00pm on August 8, 9 & 10 at Gaylord Area Council for the Arts (GACA) 125 E. Main St. Register 989-732-3242 All skill levels welcome. $40 per child.
Reading and Q&A with Karen Dionne, author of The Marsh King's Daughter

Twilight Tour and Farm-to-Table Dinner at Castle Farms
Join Castle Farms for an evening to remember. Once a month from June through October, the Castle will offer a sumptuous farm-to-table dinner and Twilight Tour. Catered by Grey Gables Inn Restaurant, a local favorite, these meals will feature meats and vegetables sourced from local farms. A chef and farmer introduction will accompany each dish. The evening will start at 6:00pm and go until approximately 10:00pm. This is a fabulous date night or friends night out!
