Robert deJonge "One-Man Photography Show" will be on display at the Gaylord Community Arts Center, 125 E. Main Street from June 4 through July 1, with a reception on Saturday June 11 from 4-5:30. With 30 years experience as a professional photographer and designer, Mr. deJonge's work will add unique beauty and style to our downtown gallery.

Garden Walk Tickets go on sale

Location: West side of Gaylord
Tickets for Garden Walk "Art and Country Gardens" held Wednesday, July 13, 1 pm - 7 pm go on sale at $8.00. There will be six distinctive homes on the tour featuring their gardens on the west side of Gaylord. Art demonstrations by local artists will also be featured. Tickets are available at Gaylord Area Council for the Arts, Glen's Market, Spud Warehouse and Saturn Booksellers.

Michigan Natural Resource Trust Fund - a 35 yr retrospective

The Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund was created in 1976 as a compromise to the controversy over oil and gas drilling in the Pigeon River Country State Forest. Since then the Fund has granted more than $816.6 million for 1,602 projects in each of Michigan's 83 counties. Join retired MI Oil & Gas News magazine editor Jack R. Westbook for a program and book signing of his newly published history of the Fund. A portion of proceeds from book sales will be donated to the Pigeon River Country Association.
