Diaper Drive
The need of in our area continues to grow – already this year families have received over 6,000 diapers from the New Life Center.
Our Goal is to collect a minimum of 5,000 diapers to help meet this growing need. Donations may be dropped off at the New Life Pregnancy Resource Center located at 705 South Otsego Ave. in Gaylord during our regular business hours; Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Help a family in need - please donate today!

Winter Wonders
The Gaylord Area Council for the Arts invites you to come in and see our Winter Wonders Show and Sale featuring beautiful gifts for Christmas.
The art and jewelry are all original pieces provided by our local artists.
Shop locally - it's a good feeling.

Power of the Purse
Power of the Purse is an annual event demonstrating the ability of women to have FUN while doing GOOD WORK in the community. Funds raised during this event support the work of United Way in advancing the common good by focusing community investments in the areas of Income, Education and Health. It is a primary fundraiser for the United Way and contributes to reaching our campaign goal each year.
7th Annual Power of the Purse event, "A Night on the Town". It will be held from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, at the Otsego Club. An array of purses, some containing floral bouquets or other surprises are auctioned off at the event. This event is graciously sponsored by Paxton Resources, and two of our beautiful resorts, Otsego Club and Treetops Resort.
Tickets are $35 if purchased by Monday, Oct. 31. After that, the cost is $40 and are available at the United Way Building. For more information, call UW at 732-8929.
